Meet JoAnne
JoAnne Gerri, Pelage Medical Spa’s founder and clinical director, has an extensive medical background in internal medicine, infectious disease, oncology, and dermatology.
JoAnne Gerri, RN, became a laser specialist in 1996 and helped develop the first laser hair removal clinic in the Pacific Northwest. Her deep background in medical aesthetics and her artistic eye inspired the founding of Pelage Medi Spa in Issaquah, where science, artistry, and patient education come together.
An accomplished artist and certified expert in micropigmentation (permanent cosmetics), JoAnne combines her love of symmetry and facial balance with advanced medical training to deliver results that look natural and refined. She continues to pursue extensive ongoing education in laser technology and medical aesthetics to ensure Pelage clients receive the safest, most effective treatments available.

JoAnne founded Pelage Medi Spa as a response to the misinformation often found in the beauty industry. Drawing on her medical background and decades of clinical experience, she created a space where clients can receive accurate, science-based information about skin care and treatment options.
Still a nurse at heart, JoAnne believes education is empowerment — and her goal is to ensure every client understands how their skin works, what it needs, and which treatments are most effective for their goals.
